Streamphobia

DESCRIPTION
You are a high-stakes horror streamer, but tonight, the stream is real. You wake up in a decaying mansion, a 4K camera strapped to your forehead, and a microphone duct-taped to your throat.
Your chat isn't pre-written. Powered by advanced AI, the "online audience" reacts to your movements in real-time. Ask them for help, listen to their mockery, or complete their sadistic "Donation Quests" for items.
This house isn't normal. To escape, you must find and document three supernatural anomalies. But be warned: the more you look, the more the house looks back.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
AI & Gameplay Programmer
Worked on this project while employed full-time at AlterStaff Inc. with their prototyping team. Main responsibilities and systems to show for this project include work on the NPC behavior for both monsters in the game, jumpscare systems, and other horror gameplay elements. Monsters were implemented utilizing Unity's Behavior Graph and modular C# behavior tree actions, conditions, etc. Monster behavior was balanced through creation of a token system that controls encounter frequency as the game progresses. Additionally, the jumpscare system was developed in C# scripts, supporting modular graphic and diagetic jumpscares that can be placed around the level.
